The World's Largest Annual Gathering of Twins! Next Festival: Aug 4-6, 2017

The Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio is the largest annual gathering of twins (& other multiples) in the world!

To honor of the founding of Twinsburg in 1817 by identical twins Aaron and Moses Wilcox, this year the city and community of Twinsburg will celebrate its bicentennial! Twins Days wants to take this year to honor this historic occasion and to reflect on how the community has grown and changed, and all the places we have traveled and come from.

With this in mind we would also like to celebrate twins’ heritage by announcing this year’s Twins Days official slogan:

“Twins Days 2017—TwinCentennial”

This year, twins are encouraged to dress according to their country of origin, to show their state or city pride, or to represent their family heritage. For example, if your family is originally from France or Italy you can dress to represent this.

The bicentennial is not only a celebration of the history of Twinsburg, but also a celebration of twins too. So, showcase your national pride, and show our unity as a twin community no matter where in this world you are from!

Wonder of Asia

This was taken from Maradhana looking towards the Lotus Tower which is under construction. The tower will be the tallest in South Asia which is 350 m high. It would be certainly look glamorous once it is completed and would surely draw lot of attention. Further one could see the changing skyline of Colombo with massive development projects and beautification projects. This is a chance for Sri Lankan professionals and students in the construction industry to be part these which are massive in scale, something we have not experienced before.
At the same time, there is other subjects which we need to look at......If you look at it carefully, there is a man pushing garbage cart (Bottom Right) simply to make a living for the day. Where will they fit-in, in the "Wonder of Asia"?
